Caligari Curry 大阪なんば店

Caligari Curry is a Tokyo-born spice curry brand whose recipe originated as a hidden menu item at a long-established Ginza club, later spun into a standalone shop that twice made Tokyo's curry hundred-best list. The Osaka Namba branch, opened in April 2024 in the Brave Namba basement, brought that cult recipe to Kansai for the first time. The menu centres on a half-and-half curry that lets diners combine two styles in a single bowl, with saffron rice as the base and spice-driven combinations built around coconut, cheese and seasoned quail. The 12-seat room is compact and counter-based, opening for weekday lunch only. Note that the branch's current operating status should be confirmed before visiting. For spice curry devotees, Caligari remains a name worth tracking in Namba.
