I never imagined there would be a rooftop in the middle of Dotonbori. And when I went up there, it was full of cherry blossoms, so I could enjoy the cherry blossoms at night—it was amazing!!

Dotonbori Nakaza Sky Terrace is an open-air bar and terrace on the fifth floor of the Nakaza Kuidore Building, one of Dotonbori's most recognisable landmarks. The building is home to the Kuidore sign, a symbol of Osaka's "eat till you drop" spirit, and the rooftop terrace offers a rare elevated perspective on the neon-lit canal below. The open-air format makes it a distinctive spot for a drink with a view. The terrace operates as a bar, with drinks served in a relaxed, breezy setting that contrasts with the enclosed, air-conditioned interiors of most Dotonbori establishments. Without a published phone number or website, it functions as a walk-in venue, with seating likely managed on a first-come basis. The fifth-floor position means it catches the breeze and the full sweep of the canal's lights. For a drink above the crowds of Dotonbori, with the neon reflected below, the Nakaza Sky Terrace offers one of the most direct ways to experience the district from a different angle. It is a simple, atmospheric addition to the building's ground-floor attractions.
