Feed ME Orange is a fresh-squeezed orange juice vending machine, operated by ME Group Japan (the Japanese arm of the UK-listed ME Group International plc), with a unit installed at Namba Marui. Launched in Japan in July 2021, the Feed ME fresh-juice machine concept was a domestic first, and the network has since spread across Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Hiroshima and Kyushu, with the Namba Marui installation giving Minami shoppers a hands-off way to grab a genuinely fresh drink. The machine performs the whole process in front of the customer: it automatically cuts, presses and squeezes whole oranges and dispenses the juice into a cup, with no additives, no concentrate and 100 percent fruit. Because the oranges used shift with the season in both variety and origin, the flavour changes subtly through the year, and there are periodic limited runs using Japanese-grown citrus, which adds a seasonal reason to return.
