Parfaits, Sake, and Goldfish is an adult hideaway set in the lantern-lit Hozenji Yokocho, where goldfish glide through tanks and each parfait arrives looking more like a bouquet than a dessert. Opened in late 2024, the bar reimagines the evening sweet as a grown-up ritual, pairing creations such as Cassis Tea Mont Blanc, Apple Pie Tatin and a matcha japonais with carefully chosen sake and cocktails. The menu extends beyond parfaits to prosciutto, chocolate and other small bites that round out a night of drinking, and a seasonal peach cheesecake parfait built around a whole fruit is a summer highlight. The dreamlike setting opens from 2pm to 2am, welcoming solo visitors and couples alike. Equal parts pastry case and cocktail bar, this is a Dotonbori address for anyone who believes dessert and a drink belong together.
