リューターファ(Ryu Ter Hua)
心斎橋筋にある本格タイ料理店。豚足の煮込みご飯とカオマンガイで有名です。
Ryu Ter Hua, written in Japanese as "Ryuta Fua", is an authentic Thai restaurant on Shinsaibashisuji, about a seven-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station and roughly five minutes from Dotonbori. It is the second branch of a popular Thai eatery called Hatena, sharing the same owner and an interior decorated thoroughly in Thai style across two floors. The kitchen staff and servers are Thai, which lends the cooking a genuine, home-country character that has earned the shop a strong following. The signature dish is khao ka mu, Thai stewed pork leg served with rice, slow-cooked at the shopfront in a display that draws passers-by, and it can also be ordered without rice or with noodles. Other favourites include khao man gai (steamed chicken with rice and a flavourful sauce), kapao rice, pad thai, chicken with cashew nuts, and sides such as spring roll salad and fresh spring rolls. Coconut ice cream is a standout dessert. The shop opens from late afternoon into the early hours and also offers delivery through Uber Eats. If you find yourself missing the flavours of Thailand while in Osaka, or simply want a break from Japanese food, Ryu Ter Hua is the genuine article. Vibrant, friendly and properly Thai, right on the Shinsaibashi shopping street.
