The brownie and French toast were delicious, but the crème brûlée was a let‑down—inside it was watery, almost like sweet liquid, and the caramelized top wasn''''t crunchy. The space felt roomy and the seating was comfortable.

心斎橋のA-PLACE地下にある、ニューヨークを思わせるカフェ&バー&ライブミュージックスペース。ブルーノートが運営しています。
Brooklyn Parlor Osaka is a New York-inspired cafe, bar and cultural space in the basement of A-PLACE Shinsaibashi, operated under the Blue Note Japan umbrella. Its ethos is captured in the phrase "all the useless and elegant things in life" - a place to eat well, linger over coffee, browse books, listen to music and enjoy a drink in surroundings that channel the free-spirited atmosphere of Brooklyn, New York. Live music and DJ events feature regularly, with a Good Music Parlor programme produced in association with Blue Note Tokyo. The kitchen serves American-style food from 11am to 11pm, with last orders for both food and drinks at 10pm, and the menu covers everything from burgers to light bites alongside a well-stocked bar. The central location, roughly equidistant between Namba and Shinsaibashi stations, makes it a convenient meeting point, and the relaxed, creative atmosphere suits solo visitors, casual meet-ups and pre-dinner drinks alike. Hours may vary on event nights, so checking ahead is advisable. If you are looking for a spot in Osaka that combines good food, good music and a distinctly downtown New York vibe, Brooklyn Parlor delivers on all fronts. Its basement location and curated programming give it the feel of a hidden cultural salon rather than a conventional cafe. Settle in with a book and a coffee, stay for dinner, and let the evening unfold with whatever sounds the DJ or live act has in store.
